Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Strategist position is responsible for implementing effective marketing strategies and coordinating with clients. This ideal individual will work closely with department peers and internal clients to assist on projects with the analytical results from department peers. A successful individual in this role will be inquisitive in marketing insight, experienced across necessary marketing channels such as SEM, SEO ,content marketing and hold a marketing-related degree. Currently, OODDA.COM is looking for two qualified individuals to join our team.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Marketing Manager to develop marketing protocol for potential clients (ex: industry research, conducting a SWOT analysis, competitive activity, etc)
- Own, manage and develop relationships with internal clients through the day to day interactions and communications
- Work with Marketing Manager to execute digital marketing strategies across necessary channels (e.g. website optimization, email, social, display, SEM, SEO, and content)
- Optimize relevant channels in accordance with clients’ goals and visions
Analyze and interpret campaign data metric and suggest solutions for ongoing optimizations - Clearly present data-informed insights in front of clients
- Liaise with Marketing Department peers, Design and Web Development teams to optimize all aspects of web marketing campaigns
- Develop engaging content for articles, blog, and social media to entice and engage the audience
Required Qualifications
- MS/MA in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Communication is preferred. Or BA/BS degree with equivalent working experience
- Ability to work independently and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both Englis and Mandarin chinese
- Strong organizational and project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines
- Extreme attention to details (Very Important)
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, experience with Excel VBA, Google Analytics, and other advanced analytical tools is a huge plus
Passion for online marketing and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in online content marketing and measurement - Experience with an advanced understanding of Google Adwords, SEO, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Content Marketing is a huge plus
- 1-year Experience with digital marketing is a plus
Education Background
- Bachelor degree is required, MS/MA in Marketing, Communication or other business-related field is preferred
Compensation
- Usually 1-3 month of internship and training period to start with. Salary is based on experience and negotiable. H1B sponsorship will be provided for qualified candidates.
